MISSION - VISION - PURPOSE
THE MISSION
The Mission of the Word Awakening Church is to minister to the social, spiritual, physical and emotional needs, and impact them with healing, delivery, growth, development & maturity.
THE VISION
At every level of life, people involvement and engagement, Word Awakening shall express and engage in carrying out the original mandate of the LORD, our God and Creator, which is Kingdom Culture: that is, to seek out and save (salvage) the lost, and to serve the needy. Empowering members to become leaders, in all areas of life, through teaching and encouraging all to seek first, the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. It is also the duty of Word Awakening to encourage all members to be active, purposeful and involved in all aspects of ministry, allowing the LORD's perfect LOVE to flow through them.
THE OBJECTIVE
In order to meet the needs at every level of life, people involvement and engagement, the Church shall implement strategies to train all members in: (1) Christian discipleship, (2) Christian leadership, (3) current teaching methods and materials, (4) the history and significance of the Church, (5) God’s biblical principles, and (6) social development to which all should be applied to daily living.
THE PURPOSES
The ultimate purposes are:
- make available God’s biblical principles,
- spread Christ’s liberating Gospel of the Kingdom, and
- provide continuing programs which will enhance the entire person's social, spiritual, & emotion development.
THE DESTINY
WE SEE A CHURCH consumed by the MISSION OF GOD:
consumed with helping people find the joy that only comes through salvation in Jesus Christ. It’s a church where people find love, freedom, answers, miracles, hope, and ultimately FIND their place in GOD. This church counts whatever the cost, and is willing to pay the price to see people redeemed by God.
